An ode to Harmony Needles

These Harmony Needles that I got from Knitpicks.com are bliss for my fingers – the best of all worlds of needles, sleek, soft, smooth, slick and lovely.
I highly recommend them, I just wish their needle sizes went from 3 to 000 and 13 – 17 (currently comes in set with needles 4 – 11) and that their cable lengths included more than 24″ and 32″…..Any recommendations?

I am currently modifying the Fat Hats pattern for the fourth time and am again, ever grateful for the invention and wide distribution of Ziploc baggies. Why? Well, this time (as I have only a few occasions to-date) I am creating a single cable in a contrasting cable to add a bit more spunk and spike to this particular hat. It suits the recipient, who loves Rogue (character from XMen that has a long white forelock) and is fun to try to boot.
Using the baggies to hold the two contrasting colors to keep them from tangling, easily mange shifts between strands of color, etc. makes life SOOO much easier. Give it a try the next time you are using multiple colors and/or strands.
